Good call, Ian. Maybe it's because I'm pretty selective with who I follow on Twitter, but I often find that I'm genuinely interested in the stuff they recommend (especially if it's their own product). I've purchased several memberships and products through Twitter recommendations, especially if several people can vouch for the value of the product. As long as someone's not spamming me all day long and offers personal insight in their tweets most of the time, I'll certainly listen when they have something to offer.
